Anyone know Harold, Bessie or Eva Williams?

Here’s a message from Joan, who makes an appeal:

“Hi, wondered if anyone knows anything about my family. My great grandparents were Benjamin & Jemina Williams, at sometime they lived at Fairfield, Sea Rd, circa 1900. They had 3 children Harold, Bessie, Eva. They also had a Barbers/ tobaconists at Stanley House on Bridge st. My gandmother Eva married David Davies in 1922, She was organist at the chapel. They had 3 children Gwena, Betty, Megan. My grandmother Eva , died in 1930 aged 32, at her time of death the family lived at 4, Glan’rafon. I have found their graves at the chapel. I would be very grateful for any info, many thanks Joan.”

  1. Georgina Wood (nee Barthropp):

I am your Canadian cousin who used to write to you when we were children! Our mothers were cousins, raised as sisters in Abergele. My mother, Elizabeth Barthropp(nee Davison) is still alive and living in Vancouver. I would love to reconnect with you!

I know this post is over two years old, but my mom (Linda Castle, nee Davies) tried to locate Elizabeth Barthropp in 2007, when my grandfather passed away. Elizabeth is the cousin to my Taid, William Emlyn Davies of Stanley House, Abergele. His mother was Blodwyn, (nee Williams) sister of Harold, Bessie, and we think another sister. We are also distant Canadian cousins, living in Ontario. We would love to reconnect if possible, and I (Lauren, daughter of Linda) travel frequently to Vancouver for work and Mom travels frequently back to Abergele to visit with family and pay respects.
