Sarah Carmel Lewis thanks Andrew Hesketh for his Abergele historical research

Reader Sarah Carmel Lewis has been in touch to express her gratitude to A ndrew Hesketh for his research into Abergele’s history. She writes:

“Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to thank you and Andrew Hesketh for writing the article on my ancestor Neville Lewis several months ago. I have just stumbled across it whilst looking for networking links in the area and it has moved me considerably as all my family are now passed and I am the final Lewis.

“The family house in St George passed on from their Gwindy days stayed with me until 1996 before it sadly had to be reconstructed so I moved to Rome to my Italian family roots but have returned this month to nearby Rhyl with great pride and fondness for Abergele and my family. I would be very grateful if you could subscribe/advise me with regards to happenings in the area these days as I too am a professional musician/teacher like my great aunt Gwyneth Lewis of Abergele Grammar and I am trying to rebuild a life now that all my family are sadly passed.

“Thank you again, you will never know how precious your writings on my passed family mean to me.
