Abergele’s 2012 Olympic torchbearers revealed

Here’s a list of the people who’ll be carrying the Olympic flame through Abergele on 29 May 2012

Good luck to all the Torchbearers, there’s sure to be a fantastic turn-out as the Torch enters town from the old road from Llanddulas, passes along Market St, turns left at the Gwindy lights down Water St, Dundonald Avenue and into Pensarn.

    Time passing through Abergele

    • It didn’t give a time on the pages I saw Ken but Abergele is the middle-most destination on the torch’s route from Beaumaris to Saltney, so I think it’ll be hitting town around lunchtime. Just listen out for the cheers Ken. Here’s the town list:

    According to the Official Olympic 2012 site, the torch will arrive in Abergele at a scheduled time of 13.43 from Llandulas on the 29th May. The rest of the route is as Gareth has said.

    i would like to say a big thankyou to everyone in abergele town centre near tesco today for the warm reception you all gave my little brother steven crossland who carryed the olympic torch through your town today i have spoken to him and he said he was very proud and honoured to do it as we as young brothers have been coming to northwales since we where children and now bring our own children here and will always class this area as our second once again thankyou all so much
